EPT Season Two was a massive success with over 2,000 participants and a total prize pool of €9,824,000 ($12,300,000).

EPT Season Three promises to be even bigger and better.

The buy-ins have been raised from €4,000 to €5,000 (approximately $6,000), with the EPT Grand Final buy-in remaining at €10,000 ($12,000).

PokerStars is hosting daily satellites for EPT events with buy-ins from as little as $11. Satellites for EPT Barcelona are already up and running. To mark the launch of EPT3, PokerStars announces EPT Online. This eight-day festival of online poker action starts 19 August, with one online event corresponding to each stop on the EPT. Each daily event will award a package to a live EPT tournament to the winner, on top of the regular tournament payout and added on entirely by PokerStars! The seven preliminary EPT Online events will have a $215 buy-in with a package added worth at least $8,000, and the final event - the $530 "EPT Online - Monte Carlo" - will have a $16,000 package to the Grand Final added for the winner!
